Halloween 2008

Hey here are some Halloween pictures. Halloween already seems like years ago. I am just a little slow. Keller was Bumble Bee from Transformers, Sawyer was Optimus Prime again from Transformers and Dylan was a fuzzy 3 eyed green monster. His costume was the best investment I never had to make. When Sawyer was a baby, Aunt Erin worked at Old Navy and bought that costume for him. He wore it twice, as did Keller and now Dylan wore it for the second year. That is one of the pluses to having all boys. Aren't they cute little guys. They sure had fun and scored on the candy. Being the mean mom that I am the day after Halloween I combine all of their candy and put it out of sight for a few days just in case they ask for it and when they never do I get rid of it. I am soooo mean. I feel a little guilty about it but if it is out all they want to do is eat it and we struggle at dinner time as it is so it is for there own good. That's my justification. Anyway enjoy the photos and I will post again soon!

Trains, trains, & more trains

Dear ol Keller has a small obsession with trains. A few weeks ago he was not feeling well so I made some delicious homemade chicken noodle soup. After slaving away for what felt like hours (okay not really but it sounds better doesn't it?) I put dinner on the table. Keller refused to eat any of the soup. We tried to tell him how it would make him feel sooo much better but he wouldn't hear of it. We kept threatening different things like we are going to take your Halloween costume back to the store, or no computer, or we are going to take your bike away...he would just give us the ya right look and give us the "please no mom" So I am a mean mom and took the beloved GeoTraxx away. I threatened that I was going to take them to D.I. so some other little boy that did eat his dinner could have them. Boy did the water works start when I did that. Screaming and crying he tried the soup and gagged and just about threw up. Our deal was that he had to try 7 new foods to get his trains back. To help pass the time we had to pull out the Thomas tracks. Now don't get me wrong he looooves Thomas but they are just not as indestructible as the GeoTraxx. I spent all day long running down stairs to reassemble the Thomas train set and all he does is play with it. I know it is my own fault for taking the good tracks away so stop complaining. I have to say though that Keller will now eat peaches, spaghetti, sweet and sour chicken, yogurt, oatmeal and a few things I now cant remember and he did get his tracks back after just over a week. But here are a few pictures of Keller and Dylan playing with the Thomas trains on the ping pong table town in "Kellers Basement" while the other tracks were taken away. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
P.S. The first couple of pictures are of Dylan and the worlds most patient dog. Good old Ginger. She love that mean little boy. He can pull, jump, lay on her and do what ever he wants and she just lays there. If he leaves her she will get up and follow him. So I guess she deserves everything she gets. We love her too!

Grandpa's Big Toys for little Boys!!

Hey long time not blog...I know I know I am a terrible blogger but things are busy. Every time I sit at the computer something pulls me away from it. And my camera (one of my 5 favorite thing on this earth...excluding the boys I have given birth to and the rest of my family husband and dogs included) Was left out in Salmon ID while Jaren was out fishing. He left the camper in Salmon with my camera in it. So needless to say with Halloween coming up I bought a new one with a bigger lens. So I still have a bunch of pics that have not been put on the blog but we will pick it up from the new camera and some pictures I took with the old old camera. Anywho, my dad is doing a big irrigation job up in Ashton and he had to rent some bigger equipment like an articulated (sp?) dump truck and a bigger bull dozer. Uncle Chad took us around the job site with great grandpa and he watched Dylan while Keller and I got to ride in the BIG truck...and I got to drive. I was funky. Articulated dump trucks turn in the middle so the whole cab turns instead of just the tires. A little different but pretty fun none the less. Here are some pictures of Keller by the truck, the equipment, Grandpa Dick and Dylan (who was fascinated with the cool trucks and backhoes). Any way thanks for looking and come back soon!
