Halloween

I know, since it is New Year's Eve I should post some Halloween photos. I actually lost the pictures from Halloween. So here they are way too cute not to share. Sawyer was of course Harry Potter. And I do have to say one of the cutest Harry Potters I have ever seen. Keller was....Yep a train Engineer. It was a stretch but he pulled it off. He of course was as cute as ever. Dylan was, well we aren't really sure what he was. He was supposed to be a cowboy but threw a huge fit when I tried to get him to wear cowboy stuff. So 10 min. before we left to go trick or treating I ran down and grabbed the blue's clues costume and he was all over that. But then he found the bumble bee mask and had to wear it. So your guess is as good as mine. But being Dylan he could pull it off and still be cute as ever. It is challenging sometimes having the worlds cutest boys. But somehow I manage! Thanks for looking. Check back around Valentines Day, I might post the Christmas photos!

Jobi's Baptism

I can't believe that Jobi is old enough to be baptised. We were all able to go to Utah and be a part of his special day. Uncle Cole baptised him and Jaren confirmed him. It was a pretty fun day. I love the way that the little kids love to get to the front right next to the font to watch. Heathers church was new enough that they had a plexie glass window there to prevent the little kids from falling in. It made me think, "how many times has a kid not being baptised fallen in" Love to hear the stories if you have any!!! Here are some cute pics from that day. The best pictures are of Grandpa Dick and Daxie. That kid has not been a gramps fan and I think it was the first time Grandpa was able to hold him without Dax crying. Not to mention look at Grandpa while he was holding him. Thanks for looking!

more pics at Temple Square

Temple Square

Since I sent our Christmas cards out with a little note that tells people to check out our blog....I should probably update it!!! The first weekend in December we went to Utah for my nephews baptism. We stayed at the Plaza across from temple square. We chose that particular hotel for the convenience of being right across the street from temple square but also the "traxs" train was right out the front doors. Keller was happy about that. Here are a few pics of the kids at temple square. Heather and Jobi and Kate and her kids all joined us. It is a challenge to get every child to hold still and keep their eyes all open at the same time to get a decent picture. Oh well I still think we got a cute one. The best on is when we were all by the fountain and everyone is looking except (no its not one of the kids) HEATHER!!! Heather what is up with that? Just kidding I had to give someone some crap and I guess its your lucky day. Love ya though! Keep checking, I will keep posting pics over the next couple of hours or days.

straw maze

A few weeks ago for family home evening we went to the straw maze in Salem. The boys had a blast. If we hadn't had our human version of a gps I don't think we would have ever gotten out. Jaren of course let us right out. They had a smaller maze that the boys played in after the big maze and Dylan sailed right through that one. Maybe someone possesses the same direction ability as their daddy. They are so alike in many different ways that it is scary. We heard that at night they made the maze haunted. I don't do haunted so I was pretty glad that we went just before dark. If you have a chance to go next year I would recommend it. Just a fun fact...they make more $$$ on the maze than the field planted to grain makes. Now that is just sad!!!

Keller's Teeth

Keller is finally losing his teeth. It has been a long time coming. Poor kid has not been able to eat anything (not that he would anyway) because his teeth always hurt when he bit into something. He lost the first tooth just before school started. Out dentist friend pulled it out while they were all camping. Yep a freebie!! It was not the snaggel tooth. Then a couple days later one of his bottom teeth fell out while he was jumping on the tramp at grandma and grandpa's. Then a few weeks after that we took him to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned and look for cavities and the dentist deadened his mouth and pulled out the snaggel tooth. I took a picture of the root on the snaggel tooth. That is a baby tooth. I don't think the picture does it justice. So now he still cant eat alot and he as 2 more loose teeth so who knows when the poor kid will ever get to eat anything with his front teeth but I do know that he is excited to sing "all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!!!" What a face! There is also a picture of his little chum Caleb. These two are the cutest friends. I was all worried for school that poor Keller would be a bit to different for friends but these to are way to cute. Best of Chums!

Aunt Erin's Neice

In September Kate and Cole went to N. Idaho we had Reese and Ryker over to play for a few days. Aunt Heather came and helped me with the kids. We were making our pilgrimage to Mill Hollow for lunch. So we were all getting ready and Reese and Dylan needed to get ready also. Heather left her makeup on the counter so of course they got up and helped themselves. That wasn't the funny part. I looked over and thought I saw Erin sitting at my table. I had to do a double take because Erin had shrunk to a 3 yr old. It wasn't Erin it was Reesie. Sitting there with her plumber butt in full view. It must have been the pants because it happened all day. She would say (with a laugh of course)Look Im Aunt Erin!!! It made us laugh quite a bit. Good ol Erin....Her butt crack is always showing. But that's why we love her. Its not the only reason but its one of the many.

Race day

Every year the boys do the Rexburg youth fun run. It is a mile run. Sawyer has run the mile for like the past 3 years. He always does awesome. I think he is built to run. He has the body for it and it seems to come natural to him. This was Kellers first time doing the mile and lets just say I don't think he enjoyed himself. They both took off and Sawyer being to good older brother that he is of course waited for Keller and Keller being the whiny little brother that he is...he whined the whole time. By the time we took the picture of the coming around the corner Keller had had enough!!! I had to carry him for a few feet and then hold his hand and run with him. Sawyer finished the race and came back to help Keller finish. What a sweet heart. Dylan did the toddler trot for the first time and was not happy about it!!! The pictures don't show that story so that is great. It was way cute to watch him run. I love this run it makes me happy that at least one of my kids likes to run. Maybe I will train with Sawyer later on. Love you boys!!!

1st day of school

Here are some pics of the boys and there first day of school this year. Sawyer is in the 3rd grade and Keller is in Kindergarten. Today I went and helped in Kellers class and oh my...28 kids in one class and only 6 of them are girls!!! Thats alot of boys. And I thought I had it bad. Poor Mrs. Hughs. But if you know Mrs. Hughs you would know she could handle it. Sawyer is loving the 3rd grade. He is a very good student. Parent teacher conference is next week so we will see just how good the boys are doing. These pictures are from our house and the bus stop (at Codlings)
and then Keller getting off the bus. One the first day of school we followed the bus to the school and watched the boys get off the bus. Keller was so excited to ride the bus that he tripped coming down the stairs and almost cracked his head open. Poor kid. Good thing Sawyer was there to help him. Sawyer was so good at showing him around. I think he has the hang of it now and has even made some cute little friends. (I did worry about that you know the whole hand holding thing) but when you are that cute it just isn't hard to make friends!

Boys dont care what they look like!!!

Why is it that boys just don't care how they look??? take a peek at these cute gentlemen....shorts with a coat and helmet and camo pants with a very stylish sweatshirt. They definitely get there fashion sense from there father. I love that they don't care. I wish I would put on what ever was laying on the floor and be completely happy about it. These pics of the boys were while they were camping at Copper Basin just before school started. I know I am a bit behind but you get what you get. I am trying to get caught up. Jaren took Soy and Kel and went for around 3 days I think??? Any way they had a great time. The next pics are of Jaren and Dylan. Jaren fertilized the lawn in late August. Yep late August is when you want your lawn to start growing. But that is when Jaren got around to it. So we have healthy grass as we head into winter. He improvised on what to do with Dylan while he was on and off the 4wheeler so into the carrying case he went and I think Dylan was pretty happy about it. I just think the pics are too cute. What a face!! I don't care who you are that is cute!!!

Mickelson Wedding

Holy Crap!!! I cant believe that it is October and I have not sat at the computer for around 2 weeks. Funny how you go through spurts. Conference is on today so I am getting a few things done around the house. The blog is one of them. Some of my gym friends helped our fellow gym friend Cathy Michelson (whos son got married) serve at their reception at their house. It was a fun night. Always good for people who only see you in gym clothes to see you in normal clothing. We had a good time that night. The weather was perfect and the cupcakes were a hit!!! Way to go Don! Thanks for looking and enjoy the slightly warm day....they are numbered!!!
