Happy Birthday to ME!!!

It was my birthday last week. Good ol 33 years old. Wow I always thought that was sooo old until now I am here. My brother called me at 6:45 a.m. to be the first to wish me Happy day. He asked how ancient I was and of course I said 2 years less ancient than you big brother! My good old friend Heidi (Mumm) Anderson took me out to lunch at Joe's. Other than that it was turning out to be an uneventful day. Around 5:00 p.m. Jaren came home and said he had gotten Grandma Ball to babysit and he was taking me to Island Park to Henry's Fork Lodge. It was pretty fun. It reminded me of eating on a cruise ship. Your menu changed daily and you had your choice of appitizers, entree and then yummy deserts. Of course they listed their recommendations for a great wine to go with the meal. I had lemonade and Jaren drank water. We are not real high class I guess. Be here are some pictures of us outside the lodge and a picture of the menu. Thanks to all for all of the birthday greetings. I am suprised how many people remembered. Thanks again!!!

Pre-school for Keller

Keller was sure that he was going to kindergarten this year. He new that he was getting on the bus with Sawyer. He has a new teacher for pre-school this year and I think that threw him off just a titch. I was really worried about is reaction when the first day of school came and went and he didnt get to go. Well it was no big deal after all. The only thing he wanted was for me to call Sawyer at school to see if he would let him play his Nintendo DS. That was it. I was prepared for drama and nothing....when I am not prepared we get drama, when I am prepared no drama. I should just always be prepared. Anyway here are some cute pictures of Keller and Sawyer on Kellers first day of "Little Cougar Pre-school" They even got t-shirts. Every time I take a picture of my chillens I am so thankful for digital cameras. It makes it so easy to take a ton of pictures. They will be able to look back and see what there childhood was like. Anyway, enjoy!

My big 2nd grader!!!

I can not believe that Sawyer is in the 2nd grade. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. He is such a good boy. My biggest helper. He is such the little mother to the boys. Very bossy. I wonder were he got that from. He is really happy to be back in school. Friends!!! He is a very social boy. He loves his new teacher Mill Wilford. Erin...I think it is Mr. Willfords daughter. They have the same smile! Anyway here are our first day of school pictures. The new "Spiderman" backpack, getting off the bus at grandmas, etc. Soy is the biggest ham when it comes to pictures. Dont you just love those 2 front teeth. I will be so sad when he grows into them. I hope you like the photos.

Dylan and his food!

My boy Dyl is a human garbage disposal. He takes at least 1 bath a day. If he eats oatmeal he looks like this but instead of spaghetti o's its oatmeal. For some reason you cant be finished eating unless you put your bowl on top of your head. He licks his plate, bowl, tray. It doesnt matter what he is eating he wears it and licks it up. He really likes food. It is nice for a change. I have one child (Keller) that will not eat anything unless it is sugar coated and Dylan who will eat anything. He is a fun boy! The last picture is just to remind you of how cute he is when he is clean!

Bannock

When I was little I remember going to an old ghost town. There was this old building with a circular stairway that my mom took pictures of for her future house. Then all of us kids sat on the steps and got our pictures taken. I never knew where it was at for sure but we found it on our trip. I came back with my own family and took my own pictures. I love to walk in the same family footsteps as my own parents. It makes me feel like I am doing a good job. We walked through all of the buildings and they are in really good shape considering how old they all are. The old red brick building was an old hotel. Then ther is Sawyer preaching to us all in the old church. Then the old white building was a school house on the bottom and a masonic temple on the top. They still use the temple. The last picture is of the sky and the bad hail storm that we were able to come home in. We ended up pulling off and waiting out the storm a bit. It was kind of scary. You couldnt see a thing. Hail around 1 inch around. It did a number on our airconditioner (on the camper) but other than that we made it home in one piece. Thanks for looking!

Glacier Ntl. Park

Here are a few pics of Glacier. We took the public transportation thru the park. That way everyone can see. The last picture is of Lake Como in MT. We have been there at least 3 times before and we always forget what a fun place it is. The boys had a blast. If we werent so ready to head for home we would have stayed a few more days. Enjoy!

Harrison ID

I know that I am waaaay slow in posting things on the blog, but here are a few more pictures from our trip this summer. These pictures are from Harrison Idaho. It is a campground that sits on the marina way below the town streets. You really have to drive down a very steep road to get down to it. We rode 15 miles the days that we were stopped here. Then next we went to see Damon and Jessica in Libby MT. First we stopped and saw Libby Falls. If you have ever seen the movie "The River Wild" with Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon. This is were it was filmed. Anyway way pretty place. Then while we were in Libby, we rode Amtrak to Galcier Ntl Park. Here are the pictures from that. The next pictures will be our trip to Glacier.
