View from the air

It is amazing how much a girl can get done with no one home but me!!! I am updating my blog (what like 5 posts yipee!!!), planting my tomatoes (finally), cleaning my house, and so many more things that needed to get done. I must admit though....I miss my family!!!! When are they coming home? They are all camping in Kilgore with no phone service. I am sadly at that point in a little babies life okay a 2yrs olds life when dad is alot more fun than mom. The other 2 have been there for a while but I lost my baby. I thought I was going to have a bit more one on one time with him but I guess not. I have been up to the camping spot for the last 2 days and just come home at night but today they were coming home so I have stayed here but still no sign of them. Anyway, I am cleaning out the cameras and putting the pictures on discs so here are some old photos. Jaren took these from the airplane (obviously) This is our house from the air. These were taken in the begin of April. You can still see snow. I wish he would take some new ones with pretty green grass. If you click on the pictures they will enlarge and you can see them better (same with the Chester Dam photos) Thanks for looking!

Chester Dam

My Dad is doing some high tech work on the Chester Dam in Chester of course. We have gone up to the job site a few times and taken pictures next to one of the biggest excavators I have ever seen (I still need to post those) Here are a few pictures from the air. Jaren was flying the other day and thought to take some photos. Looks like a lot of work to me. Sure glad my Dad knows what he is doing! Go Dad! When ever I tell anyone (with pride of course) that my dad is doing all of this work at the dam....they just are not as impressed as I feel they should be. So here is a small tribute to good old HILL AND SON EXCAVATING and my dad who makes it all happen!

Field Day at Teton Elem.

Sawyers school has a field day at the end of school. Jaren was able to come with us this year so it was a bit more fun for me. (extra babysitter) We ate lunch with Sawyer and the kids get to play on the toys. Then the students go to around 8 different stations and play different physical games. Sawyers favorite was a game called "musical buckets." This game is played just like musical chairs but with buckets filled with water. They loved it. Luckily Field day turned into a sunny day. I think the only one we have had for 3 weeks. Keller played on the toys the whole time at his "new school" He is so excited for kindergarten. Dilly stayed with me and Jaren. Jaren sat in the swings so Dylan tried to give him a few good pushes. Kind of cute I think. He just wants to be big like his brothers. So glad that summer vacation is finally here.

Cub Scout Expo

A couple of Saturdays ago, Sawyer had a Cub Scout Expo at Tauphus Park in Idaho Falls. They were able to go around to a bunch of different booths and learn new things like knots, make sail boats, learn about power etc. They had so much fun. They being the scouts, Sawyer and of course Keller. They were able to try to walk on stilts, sit in a tepee and have a sword fight. Here are a few random pics of the day. I Even got a picture of my good friend Madelyn on stilts. Go Madelyn!

Hill Airforce Base - Air show

Last weekend Jaren took the boys last minute to the airshow at Hill Airforce Base. They had a great time. They left Friday late afternoon and stayed at Aunt Andrea's house. Loved it! and got up the next morning and went to the show. Of course they got there plenty early and Keller only got around 6 hrs of sleep (Having way to much fun at Andrea's the night before) So in the morning picks his eyes were all squinty. He snoozed through a good part of the air show but still had a good time. They were able to see alot of neat things. Big cargo planes, a bike made by the Orange County Chopper guys ( I hope I am getting the bike guys right) They Thunderbirds were also there. They also had a big jumper slide thing in the shape of a jet that they got to play on. They had a really great time. Here are a few pics of them on their fun weekend. There is one of them in front of the Logan Temple (that is were Jaren and I got married almost 13 yrs ago they thought that was cool) Some cute snapshots of the boys and one of 2 planes passing in flight. Jaren said that is a hard one to catch so I am showcasing his photography skills. Thanks for taking them Jaren....you are the worlds best DAD!
